As if the Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 wasn’t already impressive enough, German tuner Brabus has just revealed the Brabus 900 Superblack.
What really stands out is what they’ve done to the motor.
As well as retuning the engine, they’ve upped its capacity, increasing displacement on the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 to 4.5 liters.

How have they managed that?
Well, to start with they’ve increased the cylinder bore to 3.3 inches.
They’ve also filled the gaps with oversized forged pistons and upgraded connecting rods.
Then they added a billet custom crankshaft, three upgraded high-pressure fuel pumps, a pair of larger turbochargers, and two Brabus BoostXtra blow-off valves.
Clearly, they’ve gone to town with the Brabus 900 Superblack and it shows.
All of those modifications result in a total of 888 horsepower and a peak of 922 lb-ft of torque.
If it’s anything like the similarly named G-Class that Brabus makes, then you can expect a 0-100km/h (0-62mph) time of just 3.6 seconds.
Top speed is limited to either 310km/h (192mph) or 330km/h (205mph), depending on the wheel and tire combination you choose.
Crazy really, considering it’s a seven-seat luxury SUV.
In typical Brabus fashion, the Brabus 900 Superblack gets all-black paintwork and a wide range of next-level prepreg carbon fiber elements.
These include a Brabus front spoiler, Brabus front grille insert with signature stripers, Brabus rear diffuser, as well as Brabus fender flares.
A Brabus rear spoiler made from high-grade PUR-RIM tastefully rounds off the sporty design.
The Brabus 900 Superblack’s exterior all features 24-inch Brabus Monoblock Z “Platinum Edition” forged wheels.
Step inside, and there’s more carbon fiber than you can shake a stick at.
The steering wheel trims, dashboard bezels, door panels, and center console are made from the stuff.
There’s also leather everywhere, including the sun visors.
Brabus 900 Superblack price
The tuner hasn’t revealed pricing and availability for the Brabus 900 Superblack, but you can be sure it’ll cost a pretty penny.
Worth it, though, as the behemoth Brabus looks like a beast and will go like one, too.
