Classic Driver is on the lookout for a new owner of this strange and captivating 1986 Fiat Panda Koch Klᴀssik six-wheeler.
There’s a primal fascination with six-wheeled vehicles that goes beyond the norm. Whether it’s the iconic Tyrrell P34 F1 racer or the opulent Mercedes G63 6X6, the addition of an extra pair of wheels elevates these vehicles to a whole new level of desirability. And yet, if we had to choose just one, it would be the 1986 Fiat Panda KK six-wheeler for sale at Koch Klᴀssik.
Originally conceived by Horst Koch of Koch Klᴀssik in the 1980s when he was still an authorised dealer in for Fiat, Lancia, and Ferrari, this six-wheeled Panda was originally intended to have a small production run. Unfortunately, Koch’s partner for this project died, but that didn’t stop him from building this endearing one-off. Fully developed in-house in Koch’s workshop, Linda Kock describes the plucky all-terrain vehicle as “A small-format Mercedes-Benz G model”, and we think she hit the nail on the head.
With its 70hp four-cylinder engine, the KK six-wheeler is a modified version of the iconic Panda that boasts not only its front-wheel drive but also an extra-long flatbed from the additional axle. Sporting the timeless KK rims from the 1980s, a removable plexiglᴀss roof, and a custom stainless steel exhaust that produces an impressive growl, this recently restored Panda has only clocked in 21,211 miles and is primed for any adventure. With the Panda’s growing popularity among enthusiasts worldwide, adding this unique KK six-wheeler to your collection is a perfect way to join in on the excitement.
