Opel introduces the new Mokka Black trim level with upgraded exterior and interior design. The Mokka Black is the latest addition to Opel’s SUV lineup, and customers can order it online, with the first deliveries expected to arrive this summer.
We are big fans of the current Mokka, which marked a major improvement over the old model with a vastly improved interior, clearer styling, and the addition of an all-electric Mokka Electric model thanks to the use of Stellantis’ e-CMP platform.
However, the new Mokka Black is not available with a Mokka Electric transmission, but is instead limited to two petrol units – a 1.2-liter four-cylinder engine with 134 hp. 1.2-liter four-cylinder engine with 128 hp paired with an eight-speed automatic.
Exterior changes are presented in the form of a new exclusive Vulcan Gray body color and 18-inch alloy wheels with a high-gloss black finish.
There’s also a black roof, tinted rear windows, black details and badges.
Based on the mid-range GS trim, inside there’s a black headliner with Opel’s latest “Pure Panel” instrument cluster featuring a 12-inch digital driver display and a 10-inch central touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. There’s also a panoramic reversing camera with rear parking sensors and heated front seats and steering wheel.
All safety systems are carried over from the GS with Opel’s “Park and Go” package, which includes park ᴀssist, a 180-degree panoramic camera, and blind spot warning.
A slightly more powerful manual version costs from 2.8 million rubles, and the automatic – 2.98 million rubles, which represents an increase in price compared to the GS by about 50,000 rubles.
