When you see the max range of the Ford F-150 Lightning is 320 miles, you know Rivian have done a good job.

The only major downside here is the price. The F-150 Lightning costs $40,000, reasonable for modern vehicles at least. However, the R1t starts at $74,800. Whichever way you look at it, that is a lot of money for any vehicle. Something that needs to change in the future.

Despite its high price tag, the R1T is an extremely capable pickup truck. One that features an abundance of safety features to help make it world leading. Safety might not be the most glamorous subject to talk about, but it is arguably the most important. A safe vehicle gives those inside the best chance of survival should the worst happen. With all that safety you get a highly practical electric truck, with some interesting design features and more than enough power for the average user.
